STANDING IN THE LAST DAY

But He Who Stands Firm To The End Will Be Saved - Matthew 24:13

Statement Of Beliefs

This is our attempt to outline and "categorize" (so to speak) what we believe scripture says regarding our walk, and how we should walk in Him.
Nevertheless, there is no ultimate truth in anything except Jesus Christ, how He has relayed the revelation of Himself through His Apostles, as we have it recorded in our bible.
Our belief statement  only speaks to the "core" of what this ministry stands on, and not it's entirety.

We believe...

That the bible is the inspired word of God and it is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness that the people of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto good works.

2 Timothy 3: 16&17

We believe in one God
Deu 6:4; Mal 2:10; 1 Cor 8:4

Who has revealed Himself to us as  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
I Corinthians 8:6; II Corinthians 5: 19

That Jesus' name is the only saving name, neither is there salvation in any other name.
Acts 4:12; Rom 14:11; Phil 2:10-11

That there is One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all and through all… He is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent.
Ephesians 4: 5&6

In water baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission (removal) of sins.
Acts 2:38

In the Infilling of His Holy Spirit,
Acts 2:4

That after His Holy Spirit is come upon you, ye shall receive Power to live a Holy and Sanctified life.

Acts 1:8

We Believe in the day when the Lord shall descend from heaven, and the saints of God shall be caught up together in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air (The Rapture) and Jesus will take His people to Heaven.

1Thessalonians 4: 16&17

We do not believe that day is Imminent, but will occur after the tribulation
Matthew 24:29-31, 1Cor 15:52, Rev. 10:7

Salvation can be lost, not because God leaves or forsakes us, but because we can leave and forsake Him.(1John 2:24)

In being empowered by the Holy Spirit to live holy and righteous lives, pleasing to the Father.(Acts 2:38; Romans 15:16; Eph 1:4, 5:27; 1Pet 1:16)

In a life of prayer ( 1Thes 5:17)

In seeking the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and not worldly and material possessions. (Matt 6:19-21, 24, 33, 19:24; Acts 2:45; 1Tim 6:3-11)

As the Lord kept the Israelites through the plague in Egypt, the years in the wilderness, and as He protected and kept Noah through the flood, so too is the Lord able to keep us. (Jude 1:24)

In the sanctity of  marriage as defined in and by the Bible.(Gen 2:24; Matt 19:5; Mark 10:7; Eph 5:31)

In raising and teaching children to seek the Lord for them selves, to have and maintain an abiding and obedient relationship with the Lord. (Pro 22:6)

Our Personal statement

We believe that one becomes a member of the Church, the body of Christ, through acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and savior of your life. After repentance,(asking Jesus to forgive you of your sins by His substitutionary death on the cross, then turning from your previous sinful life) one should seek out baptism as soon as possible. (Acts 2:38, 41, 8:12-13, 10:48, 18:8) Christians are called to be the Church, to let Christ live in us and through us, become dead to the world and alive to Christ.
We believe that doing so will constitute a life of genuine love and edification of one another, as well as striving to live a life that testifies of the love and grace of Jesus Christ to the world.

We believe that more time should be spent on building up the saints of God, than on building huge structures that will perish with time.

Though I personally believe that scripture supports the saints of God going through the tribulation time, and know that the Lord is able to keep those who are fully surrendered to Him, we know that no matter when He returns, the Lord is coming back for a people looking for, and prepared for His coming !

Are you prepared for His return?  Can your faith take you through tribulation- on a scale of what the early apostles and disciples went through?
