I pray to God that you all are taking notes, albeit at least mental ones!! Look, Matthew 24:6-8 says;6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, , and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. We are not talking about just rumors anymore! This passage of scripture(Matthew 24) is written for today, not for 70ad or for when the disciples posed the question to our Savior. Here was their question;Mat 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? They were asking about signs of the end of the world. The Lord says wars and rumors of wars is not the end, but when we have earthquakes, famines, pestilences in different places, that would be the "beginning of sorrows" It is not unusual for us to have earthquakes along the San Andreas Fault lines, so that would not be unusual, but to have 3oo earthquakes in Arizona, that is "divers places." To get malaria in Africa from a mosquito bite is not unusual, but to get a disease from mosquito bites all around the world, that is "divers places." The past week alone (may 5-13) there have been a cyclone in Myanmar that killed 34, 000 with 24, 000 people still missing. There have been Tornadoes form Tennessee to Atlanta, there was a major earthquake in china where the death toll right now is at 12,000 and counting. People, brothers and Sisters, wake up! Get your heads out of your butts and get right with the Lord!! These are the beginning of sorrows! Can your faith in Jesus take you through some stuff? As I write this, there are Christians all around the globe (save in America) that are persecuted for the Faith that is in Christ Jesus our Lord! Hands and limbs cut off, nails and teeth ripped out, rapes skin tore off of arms, and much much more! Here in America, pornography is at an all time high. Child abuse and molestations, Children slaying parents. Chicago has called out the SWAT team to patrol their streets, and they are doing it with military rifles that fire 1,000 rounds a minute!!What will your faith be able to take you through? If you cannot imagine this happening to you, I will go out on a limb and say....then you ain't walking right. You just might have to go through some stuff. Thank the Lord if you die before it gets worse, but what if you don't die, and it gets real bad?? Are we better than the early disciples and Apostles? They were persecuted, whipped and slain for the faith. The time to get right...is right now. Turn your hearts back to Jesus, and remember your first love, for we know not when he will return.Rev. Has anyone read Foxe's book of Martyrs? Isn't it incredible what other people have had to endure for the cause of Christ? Does anyone think that their faith is capable of carrying them through similar situations? Would you be able to stand up for the name of Christ, if you had to go through a little something? Nowadays, we don't think twice about not saying "Jesus Christ" in the work place or school...Lets say that the pre tribulation theory is wrong and had to go through some of the tribulation...would the faith you have today, be enough to carry you through?If the thought of that scares you, then maybe you need to get more rooted and grounded in the Lord, and His word.

Are you even sure you would make it in to a heavenly eternity? Everyone will experience eternity, but are you sure where you will be spending yours?
